Each stage can be supplied with air independently, operating as a stand-alone stripping system. Wastewater is lifted to the top of the tower and flows downward for stripping, effectively reducing the ammonia nitrogen concentration. An ammonia absorption unit is installed at the outlet to capture released ammonia.
