The Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) adopts the industry-standard Claus process to recover elemental sulfur (also known as “sulfur”) from hydrogen sulfide–rich gas generated during crude oil refining and natural gas processing.
Sulfur Recovery Main Burner System
The main burner system, also known as the main burner nozzle system, is a critical component of the sulfur recovery unit (SRU). It consists primarily of the furnace body, fuel gas lance, gas mixing and distribution device, flame detector, and an automatic retractable igniter.
